Perfect location to explore the town. Very friendly staff who gave excellent local advice on places to eat and sights to visit. the breakfast was outstanding, especially the freshly brewed coffee and the variety of options. the room was clean and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and good quality linen.
The shower area was rather small, and the water pressure could have been stronger. the plumbing system was a bit noisy, which disturbed my sleep occasionally.

Proprietor was very welcoming & helpful. Nice breakfast. Good value for the money.
Ensuite facilites rather cramped & cupboard-like. However, partly made up for by bathroom down the hall.

The service was excellent and the staff very obliging, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, just a shame we were only there for just a short time they were so corteous and accomodating.

Friendly staff, reasonable rate, cornish breakfast was good, room was okay.
Shower mat was black from mildew (or something like that) from the under side. After we turned it around and placed it out of the shower it was unchanged replaced into the shower for the 2nd night. The flushing of the toilet did not work reproducably. The warm water supply of the shower was a little bit strange but operable in the end.

On arrival we were met and shown to our room by a very polite member of staff. The room was recently refurbished and was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and served by friendly efficient staff. The hotel position was only a short walk from the town centre with parking on site. Good value all round
Toilet seat broken but still useable reported to reception. The shower was not hot enough pointing to a failing thermostat cartridge easy enough to rectify

Stayed there for a romantic escape and we loved it! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially in giving us tips on the best local attractions. The location was great as we were able to easily walk to all of the nearby shops and restaurants. Plus, the private car park was a huge convenience.
The shower had some mold and the en-suite sink was too small to properly wash our faces. But these were minor issues that did not detract from the overall experience.

Obviously on a main road it was noisy at night. Had thought it was in it's own grounds, as photo was taken from the park! Would have prefered somewhere quieter
